Small Change Grants 2017 - Applications are NOW OPEN

Byron Shire Council is offering 2 small grants of up to $2,500

for young people aged 15 to 25
to create and deliver programs, activities and events
for young people in the Byron Shire 

Byron Shire Council’s Small Change Priorities 2017

Projects must address one or more of the following themes from Byron Shire Council's Community Strategic Plan:

  • Try A Little BYT - Youth Mentor training for Byron Youth Theatre

Anna Wearne Memorial Trust

Provider:   The Anna Wearne Memorial Trust

Funding:   $50 - $1,000

Assists in creating opportunities for young people to reach their potential, where such potential is hampered due to disadvantage or inequality.

Assists young people aged 12-24 who have left school early or are at risk of leaving school early, and provides them with a range of opportunities to remain in or re-enter mainstream education and training.

IOOF provides grants that support Australian not-for-profit organisations working with disadvantaged families, disadvantaged children and youth, and aged care.
