Creative Elements to promote 'Love Byron Halls'

Love Byron Halls is a project to build capacity in Byron’s community halls which aims to enhance the management, accessible information and promotion of ten Byron Shire cultural and community facilities. The project will improve the information about each facility, identify opportunities for enhanced use, and at the same time build the capacity of the volunteer committees managing the facilities.

Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to develop tools with professional and inviting visual components to attract the target audiences to Love Byron Halls. NOTIFICATION OF HERBICIDE USE - Bob Bellear Field North Ocean Shores

14 November 2017 - 8 December 2017

 

Council wishes to advise that spraying of Metsulfuron methyl (Brushoff), MSMA and Specticle Pre- Emergent will be undertaken on these fields to control Paspalum and Broad-leaved weeds.

Application will occur during late November depending on weather conditions. Signage will be posted at the fields on the days of application.

Water and Sewer Equivalent Tenement (ET) Policy 2017

At Council’s Ordinary Meeting held 26 October 2017 it was resolved to place the above Water and Sewer Equivalent Tenement (ET) Policy 2017 on public exhibition for a period of 28 days for the making of public submissions.

The Plan is available for viewing at Council’s Administration Office, community access points around the Shire and on Council’s website at www.byron.nsw.gov.au/public-exhibition.

Council proposes to licence the building known as the ‘Bus Shelter’ part Lot 1 DP 827049 Jonson Street Byron Bay for a period of one (1) year for the purpose of a Kiosk.
